Museum im Kulturspeicher - How to get there

Convenient transport connections, good accessibility, sufficient parking spaces. That means all you have to do is to get there safely – by car, train or plane.

Arriving by car

Würzburg lies at the intersection of the most important German motorways: A3 and A7. In addition, the motorway A81 starts here.

The “Alter Hafen” car park (Cinemaxx) is located very close to the museum.

Arriving by train

As an ICE hub, Würzburg has excellent rail connections. It’s only a few minutes from Würzburg’s main train station to the city centre.

You can reach the Museum im Kulturspeicher from the main station in 5 minutes by bus lines 11, 13, 18, 19 or 27, all of which stop at “Kulturspeicher”. On foot it takes about 15 minutes (via Bismarckstraße and Veitshöchheimer Straße). The Museum im Kulturspeicher is located on the river Main between the Cinemaxx movie theatre at the bridge “Brücke der Deutschen Einheit” bridge and the Congress Centrum Würzburg at the “Friedensbrücke” bridge.

Arriving by plane

There are three international airports within a radius of 150 km.

Nuremberg Airport: 110 km
Frankfurt/Main Airport: 120 km
Stuttgart Airport: 165 km

There is an hourly direct high-speed ICE connection to Frankfurt International Airport (65 minutes travel time). Nuremberg Airport is also just over an hour away by train and car.

Easy travelling with your conference ticket

Conference tickets entitle participants of conventions, conferences and other business events to use public transport in Würzburg as often as they like. The tickets are valid in the entire city as well as in Höchberg and Gerbrunn (Greater Würzburg). All bus lines in Greater Würzburg and 5 tram lines are available to your guests. This allows you to get your attendees around at particularly attractive rates.

Congress tickets can only be sold to event organizers. The minimum purchase is 50 tickets per event(information sheet).
